My name is John Chambers...I have owned and operated John Chambers Vintage Chevrolet since its inception in 1976.  

​​​It all started as a 12 year old reading Hot Rod and Rod & Custom magazines​.  The purchase of my '56 Nomad in 1970 at the age of 19, which I still own along with other '55 '56 and '57's, elevated my passion for these cars.  It soon became apparent that I needed a "side" business to provide additional income to support the passion.  Well the side business got serious in 1976 when John Chambers Vintage Chevrolet was born and in January of 1980 I left my job selling parts at the G.M. dealer to pursue John Chambers Vintage Chevrolet as a full time business.

My passion for the product and business, along with participation, seems to grow each year - not diminish.  I continue to maintain, repair, restore, upgrade and modify my personal '55 '56 and '57 vehicles.  I have attended Chevrolet Nomad Nationals each year since 1972.  I am still very active and attend local car shows, swap meets, cruise nights, drag racing events in the Phoenix area as well as national events such as the Chevrolet Nomad Association, Goodguys,  NHRA events,  and NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series.
